日本語
厚生労働省、第三次対がん総合研究事業の分担研究課題「がん患者のQOLを向上させるための緩和ケアプログラムの開発－ スピリチュアルケア（精神的苦悩のケア）に関する研究 －（分担研究者：聖隷三方原病院　緩和支持治療科　森田達也）」では、いわゆる村田理論1),2)による対人援助論・スピリチュアルケア論・コミュニケーション論の研修会（以下、スピリチュアルケア研修会）を看護師対象に行い、研修プログラムの有効性が確認された3),4),5)。しかし、医師に対する同様な研修効果の研究は行われていない。
そこで、医療現場における医師の役割の重大さに鑑み、医師に対するスピリチュアルケア研修効果を調査し、医療現場への支援の在り方、ならびに卒後研修、医学部教育向上に資する目的で、本研究を行う。

Few studies have reported the effects of training programs for doctors specifically aimed at improving skills to relieve meaninglessness in terminally ill cancer patients. The primary aims of this intervention trial were to determine the effects of an educational workshop focusing on patients` feelings of meaninglessness on doctors` confidence, self-reported practice, attitudes toward caring for such patients, in addition to burnout, and meaning of life.
