口腔内に慢性疼痛を有し、DSM-IV-TRにより疼痛性障害と診断された者

Patients with orally localized somatoform pain disorder diagnosed by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4th edition, text revision (DSM-IV-TR).

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

神経因性疼痛の診断にあてはまる者
痛みが意図的に作り出されたり、ねつ造されている者
身体化を生じる他の精神疾患を有する者

Patients who were diagnosed with neuropathic pain, those with intentionally created or fabricated pain, or those having other mental disorders causing somatic symptoms.

Ten patients (nine females and one male; average age 55.0 years) having somatoform pain disorder with oral symptoms participated.
We also selected 12 healthy individuals (seven females and five males; average age 61.8 years) to act as controls.

10名の身体表現性障害患者は日本歯科大学附属病院心療歯科診療センターに来院した患者をリクルートした。12名の健康成人のデータは日本医科大学精神神経科のデータベースを用いた。

This study included 10 patients with somatoform pain disorder of the oral region (nine females and one male; average age 55.0 years). All patients attended the Clinical Center of Psychosomatic Dentistry, Nippon Dental University Hospital. The controls were 12 healthy individuals (seven females and five males; average age 61.8 years) selected from a database maintained by the Department of Neuropsychiatry, Nippon Medical School Hospital.
