目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
上皮間葉転換および幹細胞との類似性は癌の悪性度及び治療抵抗性を決める重要な現象である。口腔扁平上皮癌や前癌病変において、これら2つの現象を制御する候補分子群の発現を解析する。この解析によって、再発・転移や異形成との関連についての特徴的な遺伝子発現パターンを見出すことを目的とする。

Epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) and stem cell-like characteristics are important phenomena for predicting the degree of malignancy and treatment resistance of oral squamous cell carcinoma. We propose to investigate the expression of the candidate genes that control these two phenomena in oral squamous cell carcinoma and its precancerous lesions. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristic expression pattern of the selected genes related to tumor recurrence, metastasis and dysplastic change.
