慢性腎臓病患者において腎機能，心機能，血管内皮機能を指標としてそれら臨床的因子や腎・心・血管内皮機能低下と有意に相関する血中・尿中の各種バイオマーカーを明らかにし心腎連関とその進展に最も寄与する因子を解明する。
各種指標の組み合わせにより心腎連関の程度を数量化した指数を開発する。開発されたCRIを基盤として心腎連関の新規ステージ評価法を作成し体系化する。
