主な結果/Results

日本語
免疫法便潜血検査は大腸癌スクリーニングとして優れた検査法である。
しかし、小さく、平坦型・陥凹型の腫瘍を見逃す可能性がある。
一方、スクリーニング大腸内視鏡は、そのまま内視鏡で根治を望める状態で大腸腫瘍を見つけることができる。

The iFOBT was an excellent examination as screening of colorectal tumours.
The iFOBT might overlook small, flat or depressed tumours.
Regardless of the result of iFOBT, CS for asymptomatic examinees (screening colonoscopy) might enable us to detect colorectal tumours in a curable state by the endoscopic treatment.

2001年12月から2012年8月までに当院人間ドックで大腸内視鏡を受けた患者を対象とした。

From December 2001 to August 2012, a total of 919 (276 iFOBT-positive and 643 iFOBT-negative) subclinical patients in the health screening program of our hospital underwent total colonoscopy within 2 years after iFOBT.

参加者の流れ/Participant flow

当院人間ドック受診者のうち、大腸内視鏡の2年前以内に免疫法便潜血検査を受けた患者を対象とし、便潜血陰性群と陽性群にわけ、それぞれの大腸腫瘍の特徴を比較検討した。

We divided the patients into an iFOBT-positive group and iFOBT-negative group and compared the total colonoscopy findings between the two groups.
