本研究で明らかにし、患者の生命に寄与しなければならない事項の第一は、軟性内視鏡検査（胃内視鏡や大腸内視鏡）で測定する消化管癌の真の腫瘍径が、ESD切除後に正しく標本板に貼付され、貼付する医師間で、標本の大きさに誤差がないことを証明し主観的でないことを証明することである。

7人の内視鏡医のうち、各症例のESDに従事した内視鏡医2名を除く5名から、3人を封筒法で無作為に抽出した。3人の内視鏡医のうち①は、各々、切除された病変を標本板に張り付け、最大切除径と最大径に直交する最大横径を計測し、病変を標本板からはずし、次の内視鏡医が病変を貼り付ける。

5 endoscopists among 7 endoscopists except for 2 endoscopists who performed ESD were randomized and selected 3 endoscopists using sealed envelope method. Endoscopist1 put the resected specimen one by one, and measured maximum tumor size and maximum vertical size of the specimen. After putting it out from the specimen board, next endoscopist do the same procedures and recorded the sizes.

早期胃癌と診断され、日本胃癌学会ガイドラインでESDの内視鏡的切除の適応拡大病変をみたす早期胃癌患者

Patients who were diagnosed with eraly gastric cancer as expanding criteria of ESD definited by Japanese Gastric Cancer Association(JGCA).

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

ESD術前に日本胃癌学会ガイドラインで内視鏡的切除の適応外病変と診断された患者。
