人間ドック健診の有用性を明確にすることを目的に、まず、人間ドック健診での基本的検査項目の基準範囲を設定し、その利用により全国均一な、質の高い人間ドック健診を実施する。さらに、受診者を経年的に追跡調査することにより、生活習慣病の発症予防を達成できるか否かについての検証を行い、人間ドック健診の有用性を検証する。

For the clalification of usefulness of ningen dock examination, firstly reference intervals of laboratoru tests in ningen dock examination will be determined, and secondary,
preventive effect of ningen dock examination against lifestyle-related diseases will be determined by using the data of long-term follow up study of ningen dock examinee.

既往歴にがんを含む重篤な疾患のないこと。
現病歴で、１）薬物使用者：高血圧、糖尿病、脂質異常症、高尿酸血症　２）B型肝炎、C型肝炎の者

neither receiving any medication for chronic diseases nor having any history of life-threatening diseases, such as malignancy, cardiovasculkar events or stroke.
