選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

病理組織学的に胃癌（一般型：pap、tub1、tub2、por1、por2、sig、mucのいずれか）であることが確認されている症例。
術前検査にて、胃癌取扱い規約第14版におけるcStageIA（T1N0）もしくはcStageIB（T1N1、T2N0）と診断されており、胃切除術で治癒切除可能と判断される症例。
先行してEMRやESDが行われていない場合、「cN1」あるいは「cN0かつ、内視鏡検査にてEMRの適応外」と診断されている症例。
先行してEMRやESDが行われている場合、EMR（ESD）後の病理組織学的検査により追加外科切除が必要と判断される症例。
食道への浸潤を認めない。
PS：Performance Status（ECOG）が0 または1 である。
上腹部手術の既往がなく、腸管（胃を含む）切除を伴う手術の既往がない。ただし、虫垂炎に対する虫垂切除は腸管切除に含めない。
他のがん種に対する治療も含めて化学療法（内分泌療法を含む）や放射線治療の既往がない。
自力で調査票の記載ができると判断される症例
本試験登録前に患者本人による署名、日付が記載された同意文書が得られている症例

Histologically proven gastric adenocarcinoma
Diagnosed as cStageIA or cStageIB
Not applicable for endoscopic submucosal dissection
No invation to esophagus
Performance status of 0 or 1
No prior surgery in the upper abdomen
No prior chemotherapy or radiation therapy for cancers including gastric cancer
Informed consent obtained from the patient

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
(1) 活動性の重複癌を有する症例
(2) 他の術式を同時に施行する症例（胆嚢摘出術等を除く）
(3) BMIが30を超える症例（BMI＝体重（kg）÷身長（m）2）
(4) 全身的治療を要する感染症を有する。
(5) 登録時に38℃以上の発熱を有する。
(6) 妊娠中、妊娠の可能性がある、産後28日以内、授乳中のいずれかに該当する女性。
(7) 精神病または精神症状を合併しており試験への参加が困難と判断される。
(8) 不安定狭心症（最近3週間以内に発症または発作が増悪している狭心症）を合併、または6か月以内の心筋梗塞の既往を有する。
(9) コントロール不良の高血圧症を合併している。
(10) インスリンの継続的使用にもかかわらずコントロール不良の糖尿病を合併している。
(11) 持続酸素投与を要する呼吸器疾患を合併している。
(12) その他、試験責任（担当）医師などが本試験を安全に実施するのに不適当と判断した症例
