特定健診の受診者を対象に、特定健診で聴取する項目に加えて睡眠や精神健康、働き方などに関して調べ、それらの関係を明らかにして、特定健診・特定保健指導やメタボリックシンドロームの予防に関連づけた睡眠改善・こころの健康増進の方策を立てるための基礎的データを得ることを目的とする。

日本語
研究期間中に978人が特定健診を受診し、そのうち797人から回答を得た。797人のうち、仕事に就いている者は592人（74.3％）であった。重回帰分析の結果、魚の摂取頻度が高いこと、日常生活において歩行又は同等の身体活動を1日1時間以上実施していること、睡眠で休養が十分取れていること、習慣的に喫煙をしていないことが、年齢・性別・K6の得点を調整しても有意にワーク・エンゲイジメントと関連していた。魚の摂取頻度とワーク・エンゲイジメントとの間には量反応関係が認められた。
魚食、定期的な運動、十分な睡眠、禁煙といった生活習慣が、疾病予防や健康増進だけでなく、生産性にも寄与している可能性が示唆された。

Dietary intake of fish, regular exercise, sufficient sleep, and abstinence from tobacco were significantly correlated with the total UWES-9 score, even after adjusting for age, sex, and depressive and anxiety symptoms. The results suggested a dose-response relationship between dietary fish intake and work engagement.These findings could be useful in motivating employees to make lifestyle improvements and convincing employers and managers that lifestyle is important not only for health but also for productivity.

研究デザインは横断研究であり、対象者は2015年12月中に東京山手メディカルセンターで特定健診を受ける者のなかで、適格基準を満たす者全員である。
主要な測定項目は、ピッツバーグ睡眠質問票（PSQI）、K6、Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) 短縮版、Dutch Workaholism Scale (DUWAS)である。

We will recruit participants who will attend at Tokyo Yamate Medical Center for special health check-ups during December 2015.
PSQI, K6, UWES short version and DUWAS will be measured.
