歯垢除去効果；
介護用回転歯ブラシか既存歯ブラシによる３分間のブラッシング前に研究対象者に対して歯垢染色を行い、口腔内写真撮影を行う。また、３分間のブラッシング終了後に研究者が再度口腔内写真撮影を行う。そして盲検評価者が口腔内写真撮影を用いて、PCR法により歯垢除去効果を評価する。

介護老人福祉施設に入所している要介護者（研究対象者）を対象に、新規に開発した介護用回転歯ブラシと既存歯ブラシを使用し，清掃性および操作性を調べる。測定は２日にわけて行い，１回目と２回目の間に２～３週間の休止期間を設ける。１回目に回転歯ブラシを使用し施設の職員（研究協力者）により3分間ブラッシングを実施してもらう。２～３週間の休止期間後に，１回目とは異なる既存歯ブラシを使用し，施設の職員（研究協力者）により3分間ブラッシングを実施してもらう。

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
1）介護老人福祉施設に通所する要介護者で、被検歯として少なくとも上顎右側、上顎左側、下顎右側、下顎左側、のうちいずれかの区分に前歯2本以上かつ大臼歯1本以上を有しており、なおかつ合計5本以上の歯を有している者
2）現在、歯科医療機関にて、治療中でない者
3）同意時の年齢が６５歳以上の者
4) 本研究の参加に関して、文書による同意が得られている者

1) Persons who attend to Elderly welfare facility with at least 5 teeth.
2) Persons who do not visit dental office for treatment.
3) Age not over 65.
4) Persons who agree to participate this study with document.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1）口腔内に、歯科矯正装置が装着されている者
2）顎関節症などにより開口量が少ない者
3）意思の疎通が困難で、理由もなく暴れる者
4）ブラッシングに非協力的な者
5）その他、研究担当者または施設の職員（研究協力者）が、当該研究の対象者として適切でないと判断した者

1) Persons who have orthodontic appliances in their oral.
2) Persons who do not open widely by temporomandibular disorder.
3) Persons who are difficult to communicate and violent with no reason.
4) Uncooperative person to the brushing.
5) Persons who have been determined not to be suitable as subjects of study
