選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
欠損部位に補綴治療歴がなく、対合歯は天然歯もしくは固定性補綴装置を装着している２０歳以上の片側臼歯部欠損患者。

英語
patients over 20 years old with missing posterior teeth on one side, with no history of prosthodontic treatment, with opposing teeth that were natural teeth or fixed prosthetic devices.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
急性の歯科疾患、口腔粘膜疾患、コントロールされていない歯周炎や顎関節疾患、顎顔面領域の自発痛・運動痛などを有し、咀嚼機能に制限がある者。
認知症患者など、本研究の理解を得られない者。
根面板やアタッチメント等を使用したオーバーデンチャーを装着している者。

those exhibiting systemic illness or dental disease with possible effects on mastication; those with jaw dysfunction and/or pain such as temporomandibular disorders; and those with compromised mental capacity due to dementia or other psychiatric diseases.

片側臼歯部欠損患者に対して、可撤性部分床義歯治療およびインプラント固定性補綴装置による補綴治療は、偏咀嚼指数を有意に減少させた。インプラント固定性補綴装置は可撤性部分床義歯よりも偏咀嚼を有意に減少させ、インプラント固定性補綴装置は可撤性部分床義歯治療よりも偏咀嚼を減少させる効果が高いことが示唆された。
