穿刺吸引組織診（針生検またはマンモトーム生検）にて診断された乳がん。I期(T2N0M0)の乳がんで、初診時にCaliperで2cm以下の腫瘍を有する。

T1 and sentinel node-negative breast cancer (BC) patients were eligible

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
明らかな乳管内進展巣を認めない。微小石灰化を認める場合は、その病変が腫瘍近傍に限局している。

BC with diffuse calcification or extensive intraductal component (EIC) was excluded.
