選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
島根大学医学部附属病院神経内科に外来通院中あるいはポスター公募で来院した軽度認知障害者。MMSEの得点が24~28点の者。100例を目標とする。

The subjects with mild cognitive impairment are registered from Shimnane University Hospital and public subscripiton. MMSE is from 24 to 28.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
代謝性疾患（甲状腺機能低下など）、頭部外傷、薬物によるせん妄、アルコール依存、抗うつ薬加療受けているうつ病、精神症状（錯乱、幻覚、妄想、異常行動など）により抗精神病薬の治療を受けている患者、統合失調症、躁病、重篤な心疾患、肝疾患、クレアチニンクリアランスが20ml/min以下の腎機能低下患者、悪性腫瘍の治療を受けている患者

metabolic encephalopathy(hypothyroidism),head trauma,malignancy,alcohl abuse, mental disorder,chronic renal failure, chronic heart failure,chronic liver injury and patients treated by major tranquilizer.

主な結果/Results

日本語
実薬群(F群)で8例、プラセボ群(P群)で4例の脱落が有り(P>0.1)、それぞれ37例および41例で検討を行った。MMSEスコアはF群が26.0点から27.6点、P群が25.9点から27.7点に変化し、両群間に有意差は認めなかった。さらに長谷川式はF群28.0点から27.7点、P群27.8点から27.9点、FABはF群14.4点から14.9点、P群14.6点から15.1、ADAS-cogはF群6.5点から6.6点、P群6.7点から5.7点、論理記憶IはF群16.5点から18.1点、P群は16.2点から17.7点、論理記憶IIはF群13.9点から14.6点、P群12.9点から12.7点の変化で、いずれの認知機能評価スケールでも投与前と投与後のスコア変化に有意の群間差は認められなかった（いずれもp>0.1）。また情動機能検査においてもF群とP群の間で投与前後の変化に差は認めなかった。海馬萎縮(VDRAD)に関しても1年間の変化に群間差は認めなかった。フェルガードは軽度認知症患者の認知機能に影響は及ばさなかった。また安全性にも問題はなかった。

This trial was done for mild cognitive impairment(MCI). There were not significant difference in MMSE, HDS-R, FAB(frontal assessment battery),hippocampal atrophy (MRI VSRAD) and ADAS-cog between ferulic acid group(n=37) and placebo group(n=41) for one year.
