頭部打撲にて、受傷後24時間以内に本研究に参加する医療機関を受診した小児

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

受診時に16歳以上の患者
受診時のGlasgow Coma Scaleが14点未満の患者
前医で頭部の画像検査（CT、X線撮影、または超音波）を施行された後に受診した患者
研究参加への拒否を申し出た患者

患者背景：年齢、基礎疾患、脳腫瘍・頭部外傷・頭部手術の既往、精神発達遅滞の有無、抗血小板薬・抗凝固薬内服の有無
初診時所見：受傷機転、頭部外傷の状態（頭蓋骨骨折・頭蓋底骨折、皮下血腫の有無、）、意識状態（Glasgow Coma Scale、保護者の見解、意識消失の有無）、随伴症状（嘔吐・頭痛の有無）、他部位の外傷の有無
転帰：頭部CT撮影前の院内経過観察の有無、頭部CT撮影の有無、頭部CT所見（頭蓋骨骨折の有無、頭蓋内病変の有無）、エンドポイント（死亡、外科手術・24時間以上の人工呼吸・2泊以上の入院）の有無

detailed mechanism of injury,
site of trauma,
features and onset of posttraumatic symptoms, mental status, Observation time before CT scan and/or discharge from ER, CT scan findings, need for neurosurgery procedure or hospitalization over 2nights because of the brain injury, need for mechanical respiratory treatments over 24 hours, results of scheduled and unscheduled return visits, and reports of the institutional Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect Team.
