目的/Objectives

日本語
この研究は、発酵乳製品の継続摂取による精神科病院入院患者の排便状況の変化の確認をするとともに、排泄物の処理に関わる下剤の使用量の変化や通常の食事に発酵乳製品を加えるための購入費用等、費用面からの検証を行うことと、排便ケアにあたる看護職員の看護業務の負担感の変化の有無を検証することを目的とする。

The objectives of this study are as follows: (1) to evaluate changes in defecation among patients admitted to a psychiatric hospital when fermented milk products are ingested on a regular basis; (2) to evaluate the changes in expenditure owing to (i) the amount of purgatives used for treating disorders related to defecation and (ii) the purchase of fermented milk products required to be added to the normal diet; and (3) to verify whether the sense of burden among the nursing staff who assist patients with defecation is changed.
