主な結果/Results

日本語
当観察研究では、1,053名の乳児を12ヵ月齢まで追跡し、99名の乳児用ミルクA栄養児（A児）と295名の母乳栄養児（B児）の発育、便性、および健康状態を比較した。A児の体重、体格指数（BMI）、および頭囲はB児と同等であった。A児とB児の便性状と健康状態にも差は認められなかった。A児がB児と同様に発育していたことは、乳児用ミルクAの栄養組成が妥当であることを示唆している。

In this observational study, 1,053 infants were followed-up to 12 months. Body weight, body mass index, and head circumference of Formula A-fed infants were similar to those of breastfed infants. Additionally, there were no differences in the stool consistency and the health condition (infection and allergy prevalence) between the two groups. Formula A-fed infants grew as well as breastfed infants, suggesting the appropriate nutritional composition of Formula A.

妊娠期間、帝王切開率、体重、BMI、出生時の頭囲には、乳児用ミルクA児（男児）と母乳栄養児（女児）の間に差は認めらなかった。女児では、帝王切開の割合と出生時体重に乳児用ミルクA児と母乳栄養児の間にのみ有意な差が認められた。

There are no difference in gestational age, rate of cesarean section, weight, body mass index, and head circumference at birth between Formula-Fed and breastfed boy infants. In girls, there were significant differences only in rate of cesarean section and birth weight between Formula A-fed and breast-fed girl infants.
