実務実習中の薬学部５年生を対象として、水に懸濁した抹茶を摂取することによるストレス予防および軽減効果を、唾液アミラーゼ活性および主観的ストレスを指標に評価する。

The purpose is to measure stress symptoms in students during pharmacy practice and to evaluate the efficacy of Matcha suspended in water in suppressing chronic stress, by measuring the salivary amylase activity and subjective stress.

薬学部５年生(非喫煙者)
臨床試験の説明を受け同意した
抹茶（3 g）を、毎日15日間摂取できる（土日祝日を除く）
１日２回唾液アミラーゼ活性を15日間測定できる

Students of pharmaceutical sciences in the 5th grade, non-smoker.
Obtained written informed consent from the student before participation.
Possible to take Matcha (3 g) suspended in 500 mL water for 15 days excluding weekends and holidays.
Possible to check salivary amylase activity two times daily for 15 days.

主な結果/Results

日本語
緑茶中の主要なアミノ酸であるテアニンは、マウスおよびヒトに対し優れたストレス軽減作用を示す。抹茶のストレス軽減効果は（カフェイン+ エピガロカテキンガレート（EGCG）/（テアニン＋アルギニン）のモル比が３以下であるときに認められた。ストレス軽減効果が期待されるテスト抹茶では、ストレスによる不安感がプラセボ抹茶群に比べ有意に低かった。

Theanine, a major amino acid in green tea, exhibits a stress-reducing effect on mice and humans. In the case of matcha, an effective stress-reducing outcome was only possible when the molar ratio of (caffeine + epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG)) / (theanine + Arginine) was less than three. Anxiety of participants, a reaction to stress, was significantly lower in the test-matcha group, which was expected to have a stress-reducing effect, than in the placebo group.
