1. 20歳以上の患者
2. 好中球優位の滲出性胸水が認められた患者
3. 本人（又は代諾者）から文書による同意が得られた患者

1. Patients with 20 years of age and older
2. Patients who had exudative pleural effusion with predominance of neutrophils
3. Patients (or their legal acceptable representative) who provided written informed consent

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1. 細菌感染関連胸水ではなく、明らかに他の疾患が疑われる場合
2. 実施責任者または実施分担者が不適当と判断した患者

英語
1. Patients who were not bacterial pleurisy and strongly suspected to have other underlying disease
2. Patients deemed ineligible by the attending physicians for various reasons

対象疾患の症例の集積が不良であり、目標症例数の集積が難しいこと、また、中間解析の結果から成果が見込めないと考えられたことから中止と判断した。有害事象などの問題は生じなかった。

Due to poor collection of cases of target disease, accumulation of the target number of cases is difficult, furthermore, results can not be expected from the results of intermediate analysis, it was judged to be canceled. There were no problems such as adverse events.
