(1）口腔機能に問題のない人（義歯を装着した人を含む）。
(2)研究の参加について文書で同意の得られた，地域に住む健常な高齢者。

(1)Persons without problems in oral function (including those wearing dentures).
(2)A healthy elderly who lives in the area who got consent in writing about the participation of research.
除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

(1）意思の疎通が困難な人。
(2) 顎関節症の既往のある人。
(3) 義歯が外れやすい等の不適合な状態の人。
(4) インフォームド・コンセントが困難な人。
(5) ガムを噛むことができない人。

主な結果/Results
日本語
研修会に参加した163名の地域の高齢者にアンケート調査票を配布し、132名（回収率80.9％）の回答を得た。研究対象者の平均年齢は77.4±6.3歳、男性33人、女性99人、同居率は77％であった。本研究の結果から、地域の高齢者の食生活と口腔機能に関する実態が明らかとなった。また介入を行うことで高齢者の口腔機能の健康意識の改善を促すことができた。今後高齢者がより自ら摂食に関する健康管理を実践できるよう継続的な介入を図る必要がある。地域高齢者の80％は食事を楽しみながら摂取できていた。また咀嚼力チェックガムの判定結果では、地域高齢者の約9割の人の咀嚼力は良好であった。嚥下口腔体操の認知度が40％であったため口腔嚥下体操の知識を定着させていくためには、研修会を年に2～3回行いパンフレットやDVDを渡すことが有効であることが示唆された。
