目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
粒子線は、従来のエックス線などと比較し線量集中性に優れ、癌治療に有効な放射線治療とされている。しかし腹腔内の腫瘍では標的臓器の周囲に腸管が近接しているため、腸管への高線量投与が避けられず、根治照射は困難であった。本研究は、粒子線単独では照射が困難な腹部臓器腫瘍に対して、手術により腫瘍と腸管との間に挿入物（スペーサー）を留置し、照射経路を確保することで腸管への誤照射を回避可能とする術式を施行し、当該術式の有効性および安全性を評価する。

Particle radiotherapy is a promising new modality that elicits an inherent antitumor effect against various malignant tumors.However, the application of particle therapy to abdominal malignancies is strongly restricted because the tolerance dose of nearby intestines is extremely low. To overcome this limitation, we have developed a novel two-stage treatment with spacer surgery and particle therapy. The aim of the present study is to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of the spacer surgery and particle radiotherapy.

③粒子線以外に有効な治療法が無い患者
④照射経路の腸管を排除できれば粒子線照射が可能な患者
⑤粒子線の自費治療を了承している患者

④主治医が不適切と判断した患者
