目的1/Narrative objectives1

本研究の目的は、PET/MR装置を用いて、健常男性12名を対象としてブドウ糖アナログ[18F]FDGをトレーサーとした前腕～手部の骨格筋および顔面筋の活動を示す代謝イメージングを行うことである。
①被験者の前腕～手部の骨格筋は、身体内の他の筋肉に比べて細く薄い筋肉が多く、これまでPETイメージングの対象とされてこなかった。本研究では、前腕～手部の活動が観察できるかどうかをPET/MRを用いて検証することを主な目的とする。加えて、FDG集積値から筋活動量を推定して、筋電図や筆圧データとの関係性を明らかにすることを目的とする。
②被験者の頭部の筋や顔面筋も、身体内の他の筋肉に比べて小さいものや薄いものが多い。それらの筋肉の活動が観察できるかを探索的に検証することを目的とする。

Purpose of this study is to visualize the energy consumption of small skeletal muscles in hands and arms and head and face regions.
1) functional imaging of skeletal muscles in hands and arms: Muscles in hands and arms are very small. It has been hard to observe such small muscles using FDG PET. But using PET/MR, it might be possible to measure precisely. Additional purpose is to examine the relationship between the FDG uptake and EMG and digid force data.
2) Also the muscles in head region and face are very small. Addtional purpose of this study is to investigate the activity of facial muscles in some facial expression.

・Standardized Uptake Value (SUV: PETで測定されたブドウ糖消費量の指標）を計測する。

・指の表面筋電計を用いて筋活動量を別途測定する。のちにFDG-PETで測定された集積値との間の相関を検討する。
・書字課題実施時に親指、人差し指、中指からの圧力を測定できる特殊な「圧力計測ペン」を用いる。

(1) MR検査の禁忌にあたる者（※添付の問診票で判定いたします）
(2) 過去に薬物アレルギーや食物アレルギーを起こしたことがある者
（※アルコール負けも含む）
(3) 注射や点滴で気分が悪くなったことがある者
(4) 過去に、研究参加者として被曝を伴う検査や処置（他のPET研究など）を受けたことがある方

1) Person who has contra-indications to MR examination
2) Person who has allgies to drugs and foods, etc. (including hypersensitivity to alcohol)
3) Person who became ill following injection and infusion.
4) Person who has had experiences of serving as a research volunteer of certain clinical studies in which radiation exposures are given to the subjects (such as other PET studies).
