目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
本研究では、食道癌患者を対象として診断目的に施行する上部消化管内視鏡検査時に、①化学療法前後に食道癌病変ならびにその近傍の正常と思われる食道粘膜組織を採取し、標的とするバイオマーカーについて遺伝子ならびにタンパク発現解析することにより、化学療法の治療効果予測因子および予後予測因子を明らかにすること、②治療前に血清を採取し、化学療法による副作用関連因子を同定することにより個別治療を実現することである。

The purposes of this clinical trial for achievement of a personalized therapy for esophageal cancer patients are 1) to investigate factors related to antitumor response using endoscopic biopsy from a tumor and normal mucosa before and after initial chemo(radio)therapy, and 2) to examine risk factors of adverse events related to initial chemo(radio)therapy using an extracted blood serum of esophageal cancer patient.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
1. 徳島大学病院　食道・乳腺甲状腺外科において食道癌、もしくは食道腫瘍で検査・治療を行う患者
2. 組織型、進行度は問わない
3. 年齢18歳上の成人（上限なし）で、男女は問わない
4. 主要臓器（脳・心・肺・肝・腎）機能が保持されている。
5. 臨床試験の同意が書面で得られている。

1. Patients with esophageal cancer examined in Department of Esophageal Surgery, Breast and Thyroid Surgery
2. All histological types and stages are applicable.
3. Limitation of age is over 18 year-old
4. Main organs (brain, heart, lung, liver, kidney) functions are retained.
5. Clinical trial consent is obtained in writing.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

1. 上部消化管内視鏡検査を施行不能な患者
2. 文書で同意が得られなかった患者
3. 試験責任医師などが本試験を安全に実施するのに不適当と判断した患者

1. Patients who can not undergo upper gastrointestinal endoscopy
2. Patients from whom clinical trial consent is mot obtained in writing
3. Patients who investigators of this clinical trial assess not applicable in terms of safety
