除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

・感染症の発症時期が不明
・ECMO(extracorporeal membrane oxygenation)を装着
・研究登録前に急性血液浄化療法を施行された

主な結果/Results

日本語
入院時のPECAM+ EDEV数のは、敗血症群より敗血症ショック群で有意に高く、入院時のVE-cadheirn+ EDEV数は、敗血症ショック群でと有意に高かった。多変量解析により、PECAM＋およびVE-カドヘリン＋EDEVの数は、敗血症ショック群では敗血症群よりも独立して多かった。
各EDEVサブタイプの存在量を3つの患者群で比較した。すべてのタイプにおいて、敗血症群と敗血症性ショック群では非敗血症群と比較して有意に多かった。

ThePECAM+ or VE-cadherin+ EDEVs on admission was significantly higher in the septic-shock group than the sepsis group (p = 0.043 or 0.004). Furthermore, multivariable analysis revealed that the numbers of PECAM+ and VE-cadherin+ EDEVs were independently higher in the septic-shock group than in the sepsis group.
The abundance of all types was significantly higher in the sepsis and septic-shock groups compared with the non-sepsis group.

参加者の流れ/Participant flow

日本語
敗血症患者は敗血症と診断され、ICUへ入室する患者を対象とし、本人または近親者から同意を得た上で研究登録。非敗血症患者は予定手術の頭頸部手術を受ける患者であり、術前診察の際に研究参加の同意書をえた。入室時、入室2日目、3日目、5日目に採血をしてplatelet poor plasmaを精製。血漿サンプル中のEDEVsをフローサイトメーターで測定。

Septic patients were those who were diagnosed with sepsis and admitted to the ICU, and were enrolled in the study after obtaining consent from themselves or their next of kin. Non-septic patients were those undergoing scheduled head and neck surgery, and consent for participation in the study was obtained during the preoperative visit.
