選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
1) 65歳以上の胸部食道癌患者のうち、根治手術を予定している症例
2) 術前化学療法を施行予定の症例
3) 本試験の参加に関し、本人から文書による同意が得られる症例
4) アミノ酸摂取ができる症例（経口摂取に限らず経鼻栄養チューブを使用して摂取が可能であれば対象とする）

1) the subjects aged 65 years or older with thoracic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma who will be intended to take surgery.
2) the subjects treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
3) the subjects with written informed consent.
4) the subjects with the ability to intake amino acid (not necessarily oral intake, but also intake with feeding tube).

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1) 労作性狭心症、慢性心不全、頻脈性不整脈を合併している症例
2) 重篤な呼吸不全の症例
3) 自力歩行が不可能な症例(ECOG-PS3以上)
4) 重篤な慢性腎臓病の症例
5) 重症肝機能障害の症例
6) 身体トレーニングが施行困難と判断される症例
7) 活動性の重複がんを有する（同時性重複がん/多発がんおよび無病期間が5年以内の異時性重複がん/多発がん。ただし局所治療により治癒と判断される Carcinoma in situ（上皮内癌）や粘膜内癌相当の病変は活動性の重複がん/多発がんに含めない）。
8) その他、担当医が本試験に不適当と判断した症例

1) the subjects with effort angina, chronic heart failure and tachyarrhythmia.
2) the subjects with chronic respiratory failure.
3) the subjects not able to walk by themselves (ECOG-PS>=3).
4) the subjects with chronic kidney disease.
5) the subjects with severe hepatic dysfunction.
6) the subjects not able to take exercise.
7) the subjects with uncontrolled multiple primary cancer.
8) the subjects judged by the investigator to be unfit to participate in the study
