目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
シニア世代を対象にしたICTに関する基礎研究において高齢者のICTのニーズを明らかにし、このたび、高齢者がICTを使い友人と簡単かつタイムリーに交流できるアプリケーションを開発した（以下、交流アプリ）。この交流アプリは交友関係のある者たちの中で、簡便にタイムリーにコミュニケーションを図れるツールである。
本研究の目的は、シニア男性の交流アプリやICTの使用実態、およびその効果を明らかにすることである。

In the basic research on ICT for the senior generation, we clarified the needs of ICT of the older. We developed an app that enables older people to use ICT and interact with friends in a simple and timely manner (Interaction app). The interaction app is a tool to communicate through pedometers and photographs among friends.
The aim of this study is to clarify the actual status of the interaction app and ICT use among older men and their effects.

主要アウトカムはアプリケーションの利用実態とし、評価時期は介入開始から2ヵ月後とする。項目は以下のとおり。
交流アプリの使用時間、投稿数、再生数

対象者全員に交流アプリをダウンロードしたスマートフォンを2か月間貸与し、スマートフォンの利用を依頼する。データ収集は、介入前後にアンケート調査を行い、加えて、介入後はインタビュー調査も行う。アプリケーションの利用実態は、アプリケーションサーバにて対象者ごとのログをとる。

Lease smartphones with the interaction app downloaded to all participants for two months. Then, the utilization is requested. Data collection involve questionnaire surveys before and after the intervention, as well as interview surveys after the intervention. Actual usage of the interaction app is logged for each participants in the application server.
