インタビューデータから”ネガティブな経験””困難への対処”の2つのコアカテゴリーが抽出された。日本人の変形性膝関節症（膝OA）患者は、エビデンスに基づいた情報を欲し、自らの病態に関連した問題の解決のために、同様の状況下にある他者との繋がりを求めていることが明らかになった。

Two core categories were extracted from the interview data 'Negative experiences' and 'Coping with difficulties'. Japanese patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA) desired evidence-based information and to connect with other people in the same situation to solve problems related to their condition.

研究参加者は、異なる地域のクリニック・病院に通院する膝OA患者をリクルートした。
研究目的によって決定された包含基準に従った合目的的サンプリングによってリクルートした。
