本研究の目的は，顎関節症の痛みに対する最適な開口訓練の内容を検討することである．今回は痛みを伴う訓練と伴わない訓練による効果の違いに注目している．

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

1.Diagnostic criteria for temporomandibular disorder（DCTMD）で咀嚼筋痛と顎関節痛のうち少なくともどちらか一方を診断された者
2.痛みが発症してから1ヶ月以上経過している者の中で、症状の経過が変わらないか、悪化している者
3.無痛開口量が40㎜未満、開口時痛みのVASが30mmより大きい者

英語
1.Patients who are classified with at least myalgia or arthralgia by the diagnostic criteria for temporomandibular disorder (DCTMD)
2.Patients whose symptom started more than a month ago and whose symptoms are not changing or becoming worse
3.Patients who cannot open their mouth over 40mm without pain and feel pain that scores over 30mm on a visual analog scale (VAS)

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1．DCTMDで非復位性関節円板前方転位と診断された者
2．顎関節および咀嚼筋に対して外科手術の既往のある者
3．神経および精神疾患を持っている者、また抗不安薬、向精神薬を常用している者
4．鎮痛薬を３日以内に服用している者
5．現在の痛みに対して治療を受けたことのある者
5．パノラマX-rayで変形性顎関節症（erosion, atrophy, osteophyte）と診断された者

英語
1.Patients who was classified as disc displacement without reduction by DCTMD
2.Patients who has received surgical operation on their temporomandibular joint or masticatory muscles
3.Patients who took analgesic drugs within the previous three days
4.Patients who have received any treatment for current pain
5.Patients who are diagnosed as degenerative joint disorder(erosion, atrophy, osteophyte)based on panoramic X-ray examination
