2分間の安静後、CO2濃度の高い空気を3分間吸入させる．
被験者の呼気CO2分圧は，安静時より5-10mmHg増加させる．その時の内頸動脈の血流速度，血管径を超音波診断装置を用いて測定する．

英語
Trials consist of a 2-min baseline period followed by 3min of hypercapnia. Target hypercapnic levels are defined from 5 to 10mmHg above baseline end-tidal PCO2.
Diameter and mean blood velocity are measured in the internal carotid artery during hypercapnic condition using a Doppler plobe.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
循環器，呼吸器，代謝疾患の現病歴を有する方
喫煙者，過去5年以内に喫煙をしていた方
肥満指数Body Mass Index (BMI)が25以上の方
過去に採血時に貧血，失神となった経験がある方
安静時血圧が130/85mmHg以上もしくは，100/60mmHg以下の方
空腹時血糖値が70mg/dL以下の方
現在，投薬中の方
下肢に痛みがある方
週に4回以上，中強度以上の運動をされている方

Present history of cardiovascular, pulmonary or metabolic
Smoking history (past 5 years)
Body Mass Index (BMI)>=25
Anemia or Syncope followed by blood sampling
Blood Pressure at rest >=130/85mmHg or <=100/60mmHg
Fasting plasma glucose =< 70mg/dL
Taking medhications
Pain in the lower limbs
Aerobic or Anaerobic exercise over 4 times by 1 week
