eGFR低下群では、アルブミン尿のない例ではeGFR値に大きな変化はなかったが（0±8mL/分/1.73m2）、アルブミン尿のある例では連続的に減少した（-6±12mL/分/1.73m2)。 eGFRが低下した群では、心血管イベントの発生率は、アルブミン尿のある例（17%）の方が、アルブミン尿のない例（7%）よりも有意に高かった（P = 0.03）。 アルブミン尿のある例とアルブミン尿のない例の両方において、心血管イベントは、eGFR正常群よりもeGFR低下群で有意に（P < 0.01）高頻度に発生した。

In the group with a reduced eGFR, the eGFR value did not significantly change in the subjects without albuminuria , whereas it decreased continuously in those with albuminuria. The incidence of cardiovascular events was significantly higher in the subjects with albuminuria than those without albuminuria in the group with a reduced eGFR. Cardiovascular events were significantly more frequent in the group with a reduced eGFR than in those with a preserved eGFR in both subjects with and without albuminuria.
