診療録を利用した後ろ向きかつ前向きの観察研究を行う。400人以上の急性期脳梗塞患者を組み入れることが目標。主要評価項目は初回受診時に正確に脳梗塞を診断できなかった割合。副次評価項目は初回受診時に正確に脳梗塞を診断していたら血栓回収療法などの治療を受けることができた可能性があった患者の割合。

A retrospective and prospective single-centre cross-sectional study using electronic medical record will be conducted. More than 400 consecutive patients hospitalised due to acute ischaemic stroke since April 2017. The primary outcome was a delayed diagnosis of ischaemic stroke at initial contact. A diagnosis of stroke was judged to be delayed unless physicians made a diagnosis and initiated treatment for ischaemic stroke during the initial contact. The secondary outcome was ischaemic stroke with a missed therapeutic window for effective treatments due to delayed diagnosis.
