除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

1) 年齢が15歳以下の症例
2) 遺残軟骨を採取できなかった症例
3) 感染症陽性（HIV、HBs、HCV、TP、HTLV-1 ）、または検査未実施の症例
4) 文書による同意が得られていない症例

主な結果/Results

日本語
遺残軟骨ではサフラニンO染色陰性の組織やHE染色で線維化が進行した組織が認められ、それらは正常な軟骨細胞と比較して脱分化した軟骨細胞やOA患者由来軟骨と近い遺伝子発現パターンを示した。遺残軟骨から作製した培養軟骨は増殖率が高く、軟骨基質産生能が低い傾向があり、骨化した軟骨細胞に近い遺伝子発現パターンを示した。一部の症例では培養軟骨の内部に石灰化が認められた。以上より、遺残軟骨は正常な軟骨とは異なる特性を有しており、培養軟骨の原材料としての品質は低いことが示された。

Some remnant cartilage were negative in Safranin O staining and had advanced fibrosis. Compared to normal chondrocytes, they had gene expression patterns similar to those of dedifferentiated chondrocytes from OA patients. Cultured cartilage prepared from them tended to have a low cartilage matrix production ability. They showed gene expression patterns similar to that of ossified chondrocytes. These data indicated that their quality as raw materials for cultured cartilage was low.
