選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

（１）平成30年1月1日から令和2年3月31日までに九州大学病院の腎・高血圧・脳血管内科に入院した患者
（２）入院中に血清Crと血清Cystatin Cを測定した患者
（３）入院中の個人栄養相談時にInBodyで骨格筋量を含む体組成を測定した患者
（４）本研究計画について十分に理解し、本人による同意が可能な患者
（５）同意取得時における年齢が満20歳以上、80歳未満の患者

Subjects who were inpatients or outpatients at Kyushu University and meet the following criteria
1) Subjects who had serum levels of creatinine and cystatin C with the same blood sample
2) Subjects who underwent body composition analysis by InBody
3) Subjects can give written informed consent
4) Subjects aged between 20 and 80 years old

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

（１）研究者が研究対象者として適切でないと判断した患者
　　例1) 体液量が過剰で浮腫が高度の患者 (骨格筋量の測定が不正確になるため)
　　例2) 下肢切断などのために骨格筋量が著しく低い患者
　　例3) 肝硬変などの基礎疾患のために骨格筋量が著しく低い患者

主な結果/Results

日本語
合計181名のCKD患者を100名のderivation cohortと81名のvalidation cohortに分けて解析を行った。まず、derivaiton cohortの100名のデータを用いて、BIA法で測定した骨格筋量を推定する予測式を作成した。作成した予測式を82名のvalidation cohortにあてはめ、BIA法で測定した実測骨格筋量と推定式を用いて測定した推定骨格筋量の相関関係を検討した。R2は0.729であり、CKD患者の骨格筋量を推定する式のだ透析が検証された。

A total of 181 patients were divided into 100 derivation cohort and 81 validation cohort. An equation to estimate skeletal muscle mass measured by MIA method was created and applied to the validation cohort. The determination of coefficient was 0.729 (P value less than 0.001). Our results suggest that the new equation could be used to CKD patients for the estimation of skeletal muscle mass.
