精液検査後の破棄検体を使用して、各種精液調整の前後での精子のDNA損傷をTdT-mediateddUTPnickendlabeling(TUNEL)法、若しくはSperm Chromatin Structure Assay (SCSA)法でフローサイトメーター（精子数が少ない場合はスライド法を使用）を使用して評価する。
