吃音話者を対象に, 心理療法（セルフコンパッション）の効果を，fMRIや質問紙，インタビュー等を用いて調査する。構造画像（T1, DTI）やMRSを用いて吃音話者の脳の構造や代謝物の性質を調査する。非吃音話者にも同様に実施する。

介入前と介入後に脳内の活動部位や構造的・機能的コネクティビティの他に，脳の構造や代謝物の性質を調査する。

介入前と介入終了直後に，吃音の重症度に関する質問紙や様々な心理機能に関連する質問紙に加えて，インタビューや認知課題等を実施する。

日本語
吃音のある青年及び成人及び吃音のない健常話者。参加者は吃音のある人達のセルフヘルプグループやウェブサイトで募集する。

Adolescents and adults who stutter and fluent controls. Participants are recruited from local self-help communities for people who stutter, or through website.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
吃音以外で発話や聴覚に関する問題を抱えている方。現在、吃音の治療や精神科の診療を受診している方。その他，MRI検査に関する一般的な禁忌事項に当てはまる方。

Persons having speech, communication or hearing disorders except for stutteirng.
Persons currently receiving stuttering or psychiatric treatment.
Persons with contraindication for MRI.
