高齢化の進行に伴い、日本では認知症患者の急増が社会的な課題となっている。認知症はその種類と進行度（ステージ）によって病態が変化する。ステージ毎の認知症患者に対する歯科治療の方法について調査し、各ステージにおける適切な口腔管理方法を明らかにする。

With the aging of the population, the rapid increase of dementia patients has become a social issue in Japan. The condition of dementia changes depending on its type and stage (stage). To investigate the method of dental treatment for patients with dementia at each stage, and clarify the appropriate oral management method at each stage.
