被験者の写真を撮影し、その写真をシルエット化する。シルエットの横幅のみを変更し、それを被験者に見せ、「実際の自分より太っているか」、「理想的な体型より太っているか」判断してもらう課題をMRI装置の中で行う。シルエット画像を見ている時の脳活動を測定する。

We'll take participants' pictures, then we'll change them into silhouette images. In the MRI scanner, participants will look at the silhouette images distorted in width. Participants will judge if the image is (1) more overweight than themselves (2) more overweight than ideal body image. We'll investigate the brain activities while participants are looking at their silhouette.
