①トラウマタップ率：
(同一術者が、超音波評価を行った椎間で、一度でもトラウマタップになった患者数)
÷(対象者数)
②1回の穿刺で非血性髄液を採取できた率：
(同一術者が、超音波評価を行った椎間で、1回の穿刺で非血性髄液を採取できた患者数)÷(対象者数)
③超音波使用群と非使用群（ヒストリカルコントロール※1）における以下の比較
・非血性髄液採取率
・1回の穿刺で非血性髄液を採取できた率
・トラウマタップ率
・腰椎穿刺開始から終了までの時間
④超音波使用例の中で非血性髄液採取群とそれ以外の群(※)における以下の比較
・局所麻酔やEarly-stylet removal techniqueの割合
・腰椎穿刺開始から終了までの時間
・穿刺回数
・日齢・体重・処置時体動・意識状態・術者の小児科経験年数
・髄液腔の幅
・皮膚から髄液腔腹側までの距離を実際の穿刺で超えた割合
(※)それ以外の群：トラウマタップになったものまたは髄液が採取できなかったもの

皮膚から髄液腔中央までの距離※2(Mとする、図1)と身長や体重の相関，身長や体重を説明変数としたMの予測式，皮膚から髄液腔腹側までの距離と実際に髄液が引けた距離の相関

Comparison in the following items between the two groups, ultrasound imaging versus palpation method: success rate for clear cerebrospinal fluid, success rate for clear cerebrospinal fluid on the first attempt, traumatic tap rate, elapsed time for ultrasound imaging.
Associations among the successful ultrasound-assisted lumbar puncture and the following factors; local anesthesia, early-stylet removal technique, elapsed time for ultrasound-imaging, the number of attempts, age, body weight, consciousness, body movement in the process of lumbar puncture, experience of the operator as a pediatrician, spinal canal depth, and puncture depth deeper than the measured one from skin to anterior spinal canal.
Association between depth of spinal canal and child's length or weight, association between the depth of a needle where cerebrospinal fluid is obtained and the measured one, and the predictive formula of depth of spinal canal by using explanation variables such as weight or length.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

2021年6月から2022年11月の間に東京都立小児総合医療センターの救急外来（ER）を受診したもののうち，選択基準をすべて満たし，かつ除外基準のいずれにも該当しないものを本研究の対象者とする．
①ER受診時の日齢が90日未満のもの
②医師によりERでの腰椎穿刺が必要と判断されたもの
③エコートレーニング合格者により脊髄超音波が行われたもの
④脊髄超音波施行者と初回の腰椎穿刺施行者が同一であるもの

Patients at emergency department in Tokyo Metropolitan Children Medical Center in the period of from June to November in 2021, who satisfy all the criterion below and are not applicable for the exclusion criterion.
age younger than 90 days when the patient presents at the emergency department
patients who were required lumbar puncture by doctors
ultrasound imaging conducted by those who had passed the program of ultrasound-assisted lumbar puncture
both ultrasound imaging and lumbar puncture were carried out by the same doctor

②その他，試験責任者や試験分担医師が不適当と判断したもの
③本研究に参加することを拒否したもの
