目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
持続血糖モニターを用いて低血糖および血糖変動の実態を追跡し、
①日常外来診療における経年的な血糖変動の不安定性と糖尿病合併症や糖尿病関連疾患の発症・進展との関連を検証すること、
②経年的な血糖変動の不安定性と膵β細胞機能の関係を検証すること
を本研究の目的とする。

The aim of our study is to investigate whether instability of glucose variability with age is associated with the onset and worsening of diabetes-related complications or disorders in Japanese patients with type 2 diabetes using continuous glucose monitoring.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
1) 当教室の先行研究（UMIN000029993）に参加し持続血糖モニターを装着した者、かつ参加時から1年以上経過した者
2) 先行研究の同意取得時において年齢が20歳以上の者
3) 日常外来診療下で持続血糖モニターを行う者
4) 本研究への参加にあたり十分な説明を受けた後、十分な理解の上、研究対象者本人の自由意思による同意が得られた者

1) The patients with type 2 diabetes enrolled in the previous research (UMIN000029993) who have been getting outpatient treatment for over 1 year
2) 20 years of age or more
3) Patients undergoing continuous glucose monitoring
4) Written informed consent

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1)過去3か月以内に入院加療を受けている患者
2)過去6ヶ月以内に重症ケトーシス、糖尿病性昏睡または前昏睡の既往のある患者
3)妊婦又は妊娠している合併症のある婦人および授乳中の患者
4)副腎皮質ステロイド薬剤の全身投与を受けている患者
5)1型糖尿病患者
6)重症感染症、手術前後、重篤な外傷がある患者
7)通常の食事摂取が困難な患者
8)パーソナル持続血糖モニター（Intermittently scanned CGM）を使用している患者
9)その他，研究責任者又は研究分担者が被験者として不適切と判断した患者

1) Patients hospitalized within the past three months
2) Severe diabetic ketosis, diabetic coma within the past six months
3) Pregnancy, nursing woman or possibly pregnant woman
4) Patients who are taking kinds of steroid
5) Type 1 diabetes
6) Severe infection, pre and post operation, severe trauma
7) Patients having difficulty in dietary intake
8) Patients who are undergoing intermittently scanned continuous glucose monitoring
9) Patients who thought to be inappropriate to enter this study for some reasons by physician's judgments
