(ii) 初発早期胃癌
(iii) 組織学的に診断された腺癌
(iv) ESD後はガイドライン上の治癒切除または適応拡大治癒切除、外科切除後は所属リンパ節転移なし（stageⅠA）

(iii) Histologically diagnosed adenocarcinoma
(iv) Lesions resected with ESD that met the guidelines' criteria for curative resection or expanded-indication curative resection or lesions resected with surgery and had no pathological metastasis in the regional lymph node (categorized as stage IA)

主な結果/Results

日本語
ESDを受けた365人の患者と手術を受けた170人の患者のデータを分析した。全生存（OS）は、ESDグループと手術グループで有意差はなかった（ログランク検定、P = 0.506）。多変量解析により、治療方法、つまり、ESDまたは手術とOSとの関連性は示されず、より条件の悪いサブグループである、年齢>80歳、ECOG performance status2・3、チャールソン併存疾患指数2以上、およびprognostic nutritional index46.7以下の患者群でも、同様の結果であった。

We analyzed data on 365 patients who underwent ESD and 170 patients who underwent surgery. Overall survival(OS) was not significantly different for the ESD group vs. the surgery group (P = 0.506). Multivariate analysis revealed that treatments; namely, ESD or surgery, were not associated with OS. Similar results were observed even in the subgroups with worse conditions.
