目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
様々な疾患により歩行障害やバランス障害を発症している方を対象に，探索的に歩行練習アシストおよびバランス練習アシスト、以下Partner Robotを使用したリハビリテーション治療を行うことで，その治療効果を検討することを目的とする．

The aim of this study is to investigate the therapeutic effect of rehabilitation treatment using gait exercise assist robot and balance exercise assist robot, hereafter referred to as Partner Robot, for people who have developed gait and balance disorders due to various diseases.

歩行障害または，バランス機能障害を呈する者

Patients with gait or balance disorders.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
治療者の指示に従うことができない可能性がある者．
・ 重度の失語症を認めるもの(FIM理解が2点以下である者)
・ 重度の高次脳機能障害を認める者(FIM社会的交流・記憶・問題解決のいずれかが2点以下である者)
運動負荷が身体状況の悪化につながる可能性がある者．
・ コントロール不良の高血圧（収縮期血圧160mmHg以上あるいは拡張期血圧100mmHg以上）
・ 安静時心拍100/分以上
・ 心機能，呼吸機能障害による運動制限
・ 下肢に潰瘍を有する下肢血行障害や糖尿病性末梢神経障害
・ 重度の関節拘縮や変形
・ その他，何らかの理由による運動制限
身体状況が安全な練習実施を阻害する可能性がある者
・ 訓練に支障のある程度の視力障害，聴力障害
ロボットを汚すような失禁の可能性

Those who may not be able to follow the instructions of the therapist.
Those with severe aphasia (FIM comprehension score of 2 or less)
Those with severe higher brain dysfunction (FIM Social Interaction, Memory or Problem Solving score of 2 or less).
Those for whom the exercise load may lead to deterioration of physical condition.
Poorly controlled hypertension (systolic blood pressure >160 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure >100 mmHg)
Resting heart rate of 100/min or more
Restricted exercise due to impaired cardiac or respiratory function
Lower limb haemodynamic disorder or diabetic peripheral neuropathy with ulceration of the lower limb
Severe joint contracture or deformity
limitation of movement for any other reason.
Physical conditions that may prevent safe practice.
Visual or hearing impairments that interfere with the training.
possibility of incontinence which may contaminate the robot.

主な結果/Results

本研究ではトヨタ自動車が開発したパートナーロボットを使用して探索的に対象症例やその効果について検討を行った．Balance Exercise Assist Robot (BEAR)では，パーキンソン病患者に対してBalance Evaluation Systems Test (BESTest)の改善が認められた．また，血液内科での造血幹細胞移植後患者でもバランス機能低下が認められる症例についてはmini-BESTestの改善が認められた．対象疾患およびその効果が認められることが確認できたため，探索的研究は終了とした．

The Balance Exercise Assist Robot (BEAR) was found to improve the Balance Evaluation Systems Test (BESTest) in patients with Parkinson's disease. (BESTest) in patients with Parkinson's disease. The mini-BESTest was also improved in hematology patients after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) with impaired balance. The exploratory study was completed when the target disease and the effect of the treatment were confirmed.
