Narrative objectives1

In this study, we will make a washout rate based on early and delayed images. We wil analyze whether the myocardial washout rate of MIBI is thought to be a novel marker for the diagnosis of myocardial damage or dysfunction, providing prognostic information in patients with heart failure.

Assessment

Primary outcomes

We will measure a MIBI washout rate based on early and delayed images. The MIBI washout rate will be compared with survival, severity of heart failure, electrocardiography, chest X-ray, blood chemical analyses, known biomarkers of heart failure, echocardiography, cardiac function assessed by radioisotope or MR imaging.

Patients with heart failure taking a technetium-99m-MIBI scintigraphy at Kyoto University Hospital.
