The purpose of this study was to evaluate short- and long-term outcomes of catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation in a real world population of Japanese patients.
Safety,Efficacy
Long-term event free rates from atrial tachyarrhythmia and major cardiovascular events including death, stroke or systemic thromboembolism, and heart failure after catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation.

This is a multicenter registry of patients undergoing radiofrequency catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation.
From 26 centers, mostly located in Kasai area of Japan, 5010 patients were finally enrolled in the study.
