Male and Female
Japanese outpatients who were undergoing maintenance hemodialysis 3 times per week at hemodialysis center
Patients had been hospitalized within 3 months prior to the study, suffered from angina pectoris, had uncontrolled cardiac arrhythmias, uncontrolled hypertension, uncontrolled aortic aneurysm or aortic dissection, renal osteodystrophy with severe arthralgia, used their pedometers, or needed assistance with walking for more than 6 months prior to the study
