There is a close relationship between pain and cerebral circulation. The present study investigated the effects of cerebral autoregulation on chronic pain patients who receive drug challenge test. Chronic pain would reduce cerebral blood flow by constriction of cerebral arteriole, and might alter cerebral autoregulation.
