We investigated the incidence of Prostaglandin Associated Periorbitopathy (PAP) in subjects with glaucoma in Japanese latanoprost ophthalmic solution users.

Upper eyelid ptosis, deepening of the upper eyelid sulcus (DUES), flattening the lower eyelid bags, inferior scleral show) associated PAP

Male and Female
They were all prostaglandin F2a naive patients before starting treatment, and at least 12mo follow up periods after prescribing latanoprost.
None of the subjects had a previous history of glaucoma surgery or neuro-ophthalmological disease and any ocular surgery during the follow up.

Twelve subjects (54.5%) had no apparent signs were found. Three subjects were judged to have DUES (13.6%) and each two subjects were judged to have flattening the lower eyelid bags and eyelid pigmentation (9.0%). Another signs were judged as positive only one subject respectively (4.5%).
