Results

Using a mini-Ussing chamber system for human biopsy specimens of the subjects suffering from early gastric cancer after eradication, we demonstrated that the exposure of acidic bile salts to ANA might cause serious barrier dysfunction. This mechanism might play an important role in the development of inflammation-associated carcinogenesis even after eradication.
