To compare the number of chest compressions with appropriate depth one year after the chest compression-only CPR training between those with the self-learning refresher training on a quarterly basis, those at 6-month intervals, and those without self-learning refresher training.

The self-learning refresher training group on a quarterly basis will attend a self-learning refresher training every three months after the chest compression-only CPR training.

Interventions/Control_2

The self-learning refresher training group at 6-month intervals will attend a self-learning refresher training every six months after the chest compression-only CPR training.

The control group will not attend any self-learning refresher training after the chest compression-only CPR training.

Key inclusion criteria

Kyoto University students who have not attended CPR training within six months.

Key exclusion criteria

Students in Kyoto University who have any heart diseases or orthopaedic diseases.
