The aim is to determine whether enhanced oxidative stress during pregnancy impairs vascular endothelial function and improves after delivery in preeclamptic women.

Whether enhanced oxidative stress during pregnancy impairs maternal vascular endothelial function,blood flow in the uterine and umbilical artery, and placental oxidative dysfunction,and lead to FGR.

Female
Uncomplicated pregnant women and preeclamptic women that was obtained in written informed consent.
None of the preeclamptic participants showed signs of hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelet (HELLP) syndrome.
None of the participants smoked, used caffeine or alcohol, or had a history of thyroid disease, liver disease, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, or were taking any medication known to influence lipoprotein metabolism.
