Key inclusion criteria

Apparently healthy Japanese women aged 30-69 years as well as their husbands.

Key exclusion criteria

None of the participants was a dietitian, was currently receiving or had recently received dietary counselling from a doctor or dietitian, or had a history of educational hospitalization for diabetes.
