1. To develop "Hikikomori assessment tool" for family (especially parent) to briefly assess hikikomori family member.
2. To develop educational program for family with hikikomori member based on hikikomori guidelines, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).

1. Pre-program interview is conducted to collect data of family and hikikomori member, obtaining written informed consent for the study.
2. From the registration, estimation of participants is conducted at every month, and educational program is held.
3. Follow-up is conducted for 6 months after the program. Based on these data and feedback from participants, we develop final version of educational program.

1. Unable to read or write Japanese
2. Difficulty in attending the program due to severe disease
3. Hikikomori member has already been to clinic or institution for hikikomori
4. Expectation of violence by hikikomori member
5. Others inappropriate for the study
